Job Summary

As a part of our continued expansion, Targray requires the services of a Senior Sales Manager Lithium-Ion Battery, to join our Battery Team based at our India Office in Gurgaon, Haryana.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing innovative sales strategies to promote growth of the Division
  • Developing a strong network of industry and government contacts
  • Prospecting new Lithium Ion Battery customers in a young, and fast-growing industry primarily in India, but also in Europe and the United States
  • Developing strong technical knowledge of Lithium Ion Battery cell chemistry and packs / modules, to work with PhD, Engineers, CTO s, CEO s
  • Managing Sales cycle from prospecting, offering, negotiating and closing Sales contracts, to ensuring the continued satisfaction of new and existing customers
  • Developing industry insight and knowledge, through analysis of relevant competitor and industry data, attending trade shows, conferences when required
  • Ensuring adherence to a sales process through close collaboration with Operations, Customer service and Finance teams
  • Managing a dynamic Battery Sales team, driving sales, and performance
  • Monitoring market trends to capitalize on new opportunities

Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree required
  • 7-15 years experience in sales, with a minimum of 4 years managing a sales team is required.
  • Knowledge of Lithium-ion battery market is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and / or internationally if required
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with team members on a remote basis
