Roles and Responsibilities
Primary requirement for this position is to grow Embedded, Digital and ASIC engineering services business with USA and Europe MNCs and captive centers in India of Industrial, Medical Device, Automotive, Consumer Electronics and Semiconductor Industry.
The candidate should have direct and first-hand experience working in selling embedded, digital engineering services and semiconductor design engineering services, (IP, EDA, foundry) ecosystem in sales & business development capacity along with comfort in both in the Staffing and Project (ODC) based execution.
Direct experience and good understanding of sales process from prospecting to close and experience collaborating with internal and client remote (offsite) engineering / technical teams is very important. Understanding of the staffing vendor eco-system will be beneficial.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Hunt/prospect/call on clients across verticals leading with Embedded / Software / Digital and ASIC / Silicon engineering services to US and European MNCs.
- Revenue and business expansion in existing clients with design centers in US western region outside bay area.
- Run complete sales process for all opportunities including initial client communication, on-site presentations, proposal creation and submission, negotiation and deal signing.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Achieve prospecting and other sales process goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
- Personally develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals with Director & VP level executives at targeted firms
- 8-12 years experience with 5+ years in direct Embedded, Digital, Testing, ASIC / Silicon, IP engineering services sales capacity.to clients
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales quota
- Able and willing to develop client base in new territory via aggressive prospecting
- Strong track record of establishing and cultivating business relationships with director and VP engineering management (clients side).
- Experience with working offshore services company operating in the high tech domain and cultural adaptability to work across the globe with engineering & marketing teams.
- Experience of selling in system companies such as Samsung, Cadence, Synopsys, Stryker, Dell, Nokia, is desirable with connection in the local NCR customer eco-system.
- Good technical skills in VLSI/ASIC/Semi or in Embedded / Digital and engaging the potential customer with consultative selling is essential.
Education Background
- B.E./ B.S./ B.Tech in VLSI/Electronics/Electrical/Computer/Instrumentation Engineering.
