Job Description
As a member of Oracle s Support team, your role is to provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers while advocating for their needs. You ll handle non-technical inquiries via phone and electronic communication, as well as assist with troubleshooting and technical questions regarding Oracle s Electronic Support Services. Serving as a key point of contact, you ll maintain strong customer relationships and offer guidance to Oracle employees on complex customer situations and escalated issues.

Responsibilities
In this role, you ll act as the technical liaison for customers, OEMs, and VARs, helping them resolve issues related to the installation, maintenance, and use of Oracle products. Your main responsibility will be providing support through Oracle Solution Center to ensure customer satisfaction. You will work under the guidance of senior support engineers, though you may also handle some tasks independently. Solutions may require in-depth research, collaboration, or replication of problems.
Qualifications
- Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. You'll manage your responsibilities largely on your own, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with Oracle products, or at least two years of related experience in a technical role.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields (with a 3.0 GPA) or equivalent technical certifications (e.g., MCSE, Oracle, CNE, etc.).
Immediate Response Center (IRC)
The IRC provides top-tier incident management based on ITIL best practices, focusing on preventing client database, system, network, and application incidents through proactive monitoring and automated tools. As a Technical Support Engineer, you ll monitor system and application alarms, investigate and resolve issues, and escalate when needed. You ll also prioritize work according to service level agreements, document investigations, and diagnose performance issues.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 6 years of combined education and/or relevant work experience.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in Application Support and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and SQL.
Expectations
- Willing to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka.
- Flexible to work in shifts, including night shifts if necessary.
- Adhere to corporate and security policies and procedures, ensuring the safeguarding of corporate and client assets.
- Strict adherence to schedules, with the ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Fluent in English for communication with global teams.
