Key Responsibilities Leadership: Develop strategy for the manufacturing of different dose forms for next five years and plan to deliver on strategy Contribute towards establishing and achieving of financial targets. Delivery of quality products to customers as per agreed supply plan and ensure that there is no loss of sale due to short supply. Ensure the plant and equipment are maintained to ensure smooth production Ensure compliance of Health and Safety and Environmental standards. Lead organizational culture to maximize effectiveness of all employees in the Value stream Deliver resources required to support the manufacturing business Motivate & coach significant number of people through effective performance management & facilitation at all job levels Management and delivery of change initiatives including POBOS diagnostic finding & New Nashik roadmap involving processes, technologies and people which contribute to the overall effective improvement in the Supply Chain Involvement in CAPEX plan for the value stream & coordinate implementation with Engineering Implementation of QMS (Quality Management Systems) & ensure that all QMS policies are in place & in use. GPS To lead, train, develop and motivate employees towards the pursuit of GPS ways of working, leading edge practices and attainment of Good Manufacturing Practice To take opportunities to create improved compliance through the effective use of Lean Sigma methodology. To champion continuous improvement of engineering and PIP (Project Investment Proposal) processes and systems across the site using OE tools. Audit/Checking activities: Ensure compliance of FDA and other regulatory requirements. General Activities: Accountable for delivering the Manufacturing and Supply objectives of the different dose forms under his control, ensuring that all products meet customer needs within agreed compliance, time, cost and quality targets. Accountable for implementation of Nashik roadmap in the dose forms under his control. To set an appropriate financial budget and ensure that the department operates within it To develop cost-effective ways of working without compromise to compliance, service or safety Employee Welfare To role model the GSK culture. To optimize resource, utilize and develop skills across the dose forms under his control and increase flexibility and to meet specific site business requirements. To create an environment within area under his control where each member can understand their role and contribution and produce their best work.
