Job Summary
About this opportunity: At Ericsson, we are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Support Engineer to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing data-driven solutions to customer-reported issues, ensuring that they align with established processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role includes identifying, isolating, and resolving faults, with a strong focus on maintaining network stability. As you grow in this position, you will take on more operational and technical challenges related to specific customers, solutions, or domains. What you will do: Investigate and Resolve Issues: Lead investigations and drive the resolution of customer issues across the CS portfolio. On-Site Support: Participate in on-site activities when remote access is insufficient, ensuring timely resolution of problems. Emergency Fault Resolution: Contribute to resolving emergencies by isolating faults and restoring customer networks and solutions. Problem Management Support: Support problem management by identifying and categorizing significant operational or business-impacting problems. Contractual and Operational Management: Handle administrative, operational, and technical issues related to customer contracts and installed base. Security Expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during Security Reviews, providing subject matter expertise on security-related matters. The skills you bring: CCXX Knowledge: Strong understanding of CCRC, CCSM, CCDM, UDM, deployment, and troubleshooting. Mobile Core Knowledge: Experience with Mobile Core technologies. Cloud & OpenStack Experience: Hands-on experience with Cloud and OpenStack (CEE and CCD preferable). Call Flow & Solution Knowledge: Familiarity with Call Flow and solutions knowledge of CCXX, 5GC interworking. Automation & Scripting: Proficient in Automation and Python scripting. Willingness to Travel: Open to occasional travel outside of India, particularly to Australia. Roster Work: Willingness to work in a roster environment, handling shifts as required. Customer Problem Management: Strong experience in managing customer problems effectively. Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiation and managing customer relationships. Knowledge Transfer & Collaboration: Skilled in Knowledge Sharing, Collaboration, and Coaching. Release & Change Management: Experience in Release and Change Management, ensuring smooth implementation of changes. Preemptive Support Competence: Ability to deliver preemptive support, anticipating issues before they arise. CS Portfolio Competence: In-depth knowledge of the CS Portfolio and related solutions. Data Analysis: Strong competency in data analysis and using insights to drive improvements. Customer Relationship Building: Proven ability in building and maintaining customer relationships for long-term success. CSR Handling: Proficient in CSR handling processes and managing customer expectations. Trade Compliance: Familiarity with trade compliance regulations in a global environment. Machine Learning: Exposure to Machine Learning techniques, applied to customer success and problem resolution. Why Ericsson?
