Amazon is seeking Labor Planning Manager for different IN Ops functions. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our loyal customers.
Four key areas that youll always focus on are the quality, customer experience, stakeholder management, and productivity of your department.
Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall labor planning objectives.
Partner with other Planning Managers to balance work ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient manner while meeting all of your goals.
Support all stakeholders and ensure delivery of best quality results on time.
Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and lean tools
1. Ability to lead and deliver complex planning initiatives in the network.
2. Ability to execute and manage multiple competing priorities, leveraging the available resources and tools.
3. Work effectively with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the S&OP team and influence them through earning trust
4. Actively seeking the voice of your customers to improve levels of service.
5. Assist with the roll out of new tools, processes which can operate at scale.
6. Aid in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and training materials.
7. Own weekly, monthly and quarterly business review related reporting and documentation
8. Automate manual processes and reduce inefficiencies wherever applicable
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Engineering from a reputed university
5+ years management experience in Manufacturing, Production or Planning
Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple Operational and Planning functions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification
4-6 years experience using operations mindset to drive improvements through the application of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools and concepts.
