Job Summary Sales Engineer ResponsibilitiesA business development professional has three primary responsibilities:1.Find construction projects, B2B sales2.Get the sales using various sales methods3.Forecast sales, develop out of the box sales strategies and evaluate their effectiveness4.Meet personal and team sales targets5.Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships6.Up-selling to existing customers7.Report and provide feedback to the supervisors8.Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territoryWhen it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new marketsResearching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasingContacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetingsPlanning and overseeing new marketing initiativesWhen it comes to the challenge of selling, other typical duties include:Demonstrate the products technicality in detailsPreparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displaysContacting clients to inform them about new developments in the companys productsDeveloping proposalsNegotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in personTo keep healthy relationships with clients, this mostly requires socialisation.
