Job Purpose:
As a sales engineer, you'll combine technical knowledge with sales skills. The balance depends on the level of technical knowledge and understanding you'll need to sell the product you're offering and to respond to clients' queries.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify sales leads, pitch services to new clients and also maintain a good working relationship with new existing clients
2. Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
3. Attending calls from trade portals customer viz. trade India, India-mart etc. and documentation of the same;
4. Meeting with prospective clients and convert them in to potential clients
5. Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
6. Preparation of project proposals
7. Influences customers to buy services and merchandise
8. Overseeing the development of marketing literature
9. Provide trustworthy feedback to the management
10. Handle MIS Reporting documentation for daily task and activity
11. Must ready for any other task assigned by the ASI Technology
Requisite Skills:
a) Networking and relationship management with clients
b) Negotiation skills &Good communication skills
c) General Automation technology and market knowledge.
d) Should be willing to travel
e) Self-motivated, fast paced
f) Ability to work in a demanding environment
g) Preferable knowledge Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Wonder Ware.
Education:
BE-Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation / Any Specialization preferably with MBA.
Relevant Experience:3 to 5 years (minimum 1year from Engineering & Industrial)
