Sr. System Engineer Job in Veradigm

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer! We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to help maintain our current infrastructure and expand our CI/CD implementations within the public cloud. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical solutions and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. ***This role can be 100% remote*** Duties & Responsibilities: Provide senior expertise to resolve escalated issues Perform preventative maintenance tasks on servers and the network infrastructure Troubleshoot and build VPN tunnels on Cisco and Azure interfaces Develop solutions to tasks and problems with new and evolving technologies Deploy and monitor application systems and infrastructure with best practices and modern tooling Understand the troubleshooting process end to end and suggest resolutions to other team members and development Use infrastructure as code tooling to manage environments like Terraform, ARM, or other similar pipeline-able languages Participate in design discussions for application stability, scaling, and migrations Experience/Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject 5 years of progressive technical experience in the support of information technology solutions Proven working experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 2016/2019/2022 servers in an enterprise environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems, including Active Directory, Group Policies, Windows Clustering, terminal services, RDP, MS SQL, etc. Experience with VMware virtualization and containerization Experience with public cloud, preferably in Azure or AWS Experience with networking systems Experience with automation software (e.g., GitHub, Terraform, Pipelines, and Pipeline tooling) Experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks Experience with OS / Application patching best practices Solid scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, etc.) Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, switches, and routers) Must have excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills Ability to think outside the box" and take ownership of complex IT problems Microsoft, Azure, AWS, or Networking certification preferable
