Job Summary We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated technical individual who has the desire and capability to think outside the box to solve complex problems. The candidate is also expected to have excellent debugging and analytical skills along with strong technical foundation. The Lead Support Engineer acts as the main point of contact regarding technical issues and will work directly with Development and QA teams to facilitate resolution.

You will:

    • You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications
    • You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements
    • Handle all production issues including customer reported which needs development team involvements. Generally, these are the issues reported by Customers/ARE teams which needs inputs or analysis from application teams
    • Continuously engage in developing features and tools to help reducing production issues and also expediting resolutions and diagnosis of issues

Ideal Candidate:

    • Extensive hands-on experience building and managing the development of complex, large scale enterprise applications and products with resilience and reliability
    • Good command on Algorithms and data structures, OOAD, Client-server systems, distributed systems and multithreaded programming
    • Experience working with micro-service architecture using Docker. Kubernetes is a plus
    • Deep knowledge and hands on experience in delivering SOA, cloud and REST Services using Java/JEE, Spring
    • Working knowledge of stream processing with knowledge on Kafka
    • Knowledge of Software Engineering best practices with experience on implementing CI/CD, Log aggregation/Monitoring/alerting for production system.
    • Strong expertise in production support related activities (issue identification, resolution)
