Job Summary Job Title: Fleet Coordinator Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to manage and oversee our fleet operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are maintained, scheduled for use, and comply with regulatory standards. You will coordinate logistics, manage maintenance schedules, and work with internal teams to optimize fleet performance while ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the company s fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are utilized efficiently and safely. Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, maintenance schedules, and service history. Liaise with vendors and service providers for vehicle repairs, parts, and services. Assist with the procurement and disposal of fleet vehicles as needed. Ensure that all fleet vehicles are properly licensed, insured, and meet all regulatory requirements. Monitor and track fleet-related costs, working to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved efficiency. Coordinate with drivers and operators to ensure that vehicles are available as needed and comply with company policies. Implement and enforce fleet safety policies and procedures, including driver training and safety checks. Generate and maintain reports on fleet performance, usage, and maintenance. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus. 2+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes, and industry regulations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to track and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Basic understanding of budgeting and cost management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing a large fleet of vehicles. Certification in fleet management or logistics (e.g., Fleet Management Professional (FMP)). Knowledge of vehicle telematics and fleet tracking systems.
