Job Purpose: This role will support projects in Chemical Development business unit at Syngene along with supporting SAP activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with team in implementing project management knowledge areas and best practices (as applicable)
Coordinate end-to-end cross-functional project operations and multi-disciplinary activities to ensure that project deliverables are met
Monitor progress of project activities and deliver frequent updates to the Project Leader, Clients and Team
Track project plan w.r.t resource, schedule and budget
Prepare project reports from the existing enterprise management database-dash boards/MIS
Carry out end-to-end project transactions on SAP viz. resource management, budget
Lead scheduling of team meetings and preparation of project team agendas and minutes and timely communicate to all project stake holders, including clients
Liaise with finance team to ensure appropriate revenue recognition, and timely and accurate invoicing
Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team
Educational Qualification:Masters degree in chemistry / pharma or related disciplines
Technical/functional Skills:
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
Having good awareness on GMP aspects
Adherence to SOPs as per quality standards
Well verse with project management principles
Well versed with Microsoft office tools like excel, Microsoft project & PowerPoint etc.
Effective communication skills in English
Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
Experience:
5-6 years of total experience in biotech/pharma industry, of which:
3-5 years of experience in project management
1-3 years of scientific/laboratory/production experience with understanding of technical aspects of pharma / chemical synthesis
