Job Purpose: To manage end-end project management activities for Baxter Global Research Centre (BGRC) circling around Analytical Chemistry & Stability domain by ensuring good practices for healthy business relationship with client.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure implementation of effective Project Management processes with appropriate tools from project initiation to project closure
Prepare planning documents, including schedule (Gantt charts) and secure requisite approvals
Ensure progress reporting by participating in project review meetings at desired frequency capturing Minutes of Meetings/action items and by actively following up on action items to completion
Ensure right level of control through effective use of governance frameworks and established escalation mechanisms
Ensure timely and transparent sharing of information including appropriate dashboards and status updates
Active tracking of Statement of Work (SOWs) with risk identification and timely SOW amendments
Enable resolution of issues in a timely manner
Build and maintain strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure systematic closure of activities as needed
Propose process improvement measures and practice Kaizan methodology
Ensure project status reporting, project metrics tracking, all non-technical communication, etc.
Support project teams in all operational requirements
Support in implementing Project Management manual per Syngene norms
Liaise with finance, logistics, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain & other Cross Functional Teams to ensure smooth execution of projects
Work closely with operations and functional leads to monitor productivity of internal projects
Participate in operational excellence projects with 6 sigma methodology/ Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) process in mind
To manage infrastructure project management as and when required.
Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
Educational Qualification:
Masters in Life Sciences
MBA
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory
Good understanding of Green belt project
Technical/functional Skills:
Have fundamental knowledge in analytical chemistry including stability function
Good knowledge of the 5 levers in project management from Initiation to Project Closure
Proficient in project management knowledge areas
Proficient in project management software/tools (MS Project or equivalent)
Comfortable with data analysis using MS Excel
Comfortable with presentations using MS PowerPoint
Comfortable with collaboration platforms such as MS Teams, WebEx, JIRA, Sharepoint etc.
Basic knowledge of SAP tool
Good knowledge of Contract Research Organization (CRO)/Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO)/Pharma/Biotech industry environment
Knowledge of operations, process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies will be a plus
Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
Experience:
Overall 10 years of industry experience out of which 4 years of relevant Project Management experience required
Experience in managing strategic collaborations with different clients
Have implemented 1 process improvement projects via Greenbelt route
