Job Description : About the Role This role will lead the bid management function for the UK geography and be responsible for the operation of mirror centres in Reading and Mumbai. It is also a hands-on role and will lead and manage bids as part of the overall team deliverables. The successful candidate will be an experienced Pre-Sales professional adept at winning tendered business in the UK public and private sector IT serviced marketplace. Responsibilities Lead and manage the bid management teams in Mumbai and Reading Proactively manage bid management capacity in line with pipeline demand Develop proactive customised client value propositions to support the sales team Manage a library of compelling bid content Manage bid centre process improvement programmes; and Managing, shaping and writing cross service line bids ( 2m - 50m). Skills and experience It is essential that: You should have experience of best-in-class bid creation within the IT technology sector and be capable of developing and articulating complex service solutions; You will be comfortable driving internal change and improvement programmes; You will have experience of mentoring, managing and developing small teams; You will have detailed proposition knowledge in one or more of: Business Intelligence and Analytics; Data Virtualisation and Big Data; Azure and AWS; Application Development; DevOps; Testing and Application Support and Maintenance; You will have significant experience in managing complex cross-business bids ( 2m - 50m); You will have strong written customer communication skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels; and A personality that is comfortable in a deadline driven environment with effective time management skills.
