We re looking for an experienced leader to join us in a senior accounting role. This position requires someone with a solid background in operational and technical accounting, a proactive approach to driving results, and strong leadership capabilities. You will be expected to interact regularly with senior leadership and other key stakeholders across the company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is a proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent in a dynamic environment.
Your Impact
In this role, you will:
- Manage the monthly financial close process for international entities, ensuring that all financial activities are accurate and on schedule.
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure all costs are recorded properly.
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly flux analyses to internal stakeholders to track financial performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams at all levels to deliver accurate financial and management reporting.
- Coordinate with third-party accounting service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives such as new leases and office construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and statutory regulations.
- Manage audits for international entities and work with external auditors to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
- Bridge the gap between statutory accounting and US GAAP records and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist with tax return preparations and work with Tax, Treasury, and other teams to ensure financial accounting activities are well coordinated.
- Mentor and develop team members, guiding them to meet team goals and advancing their careers.
Your Experience
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- CA or CPA certification with a bachelor s degree in accounting, or equivalent military experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in General Ledger (GL)/Record to Report (RTR) roles within a large U.S.-based multinational corporation.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting practices.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with account reconciliation tools such as Blackline is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and presentation.
- The ability to balance a strategic mindset with hands-on execution.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative leadership style with a positive, energetic attitude.
