Inventory Accounting and Compliance

  • Inventory accounting and process control
  • Review of 3rd party manufacturing invoices and costings
  • Month close reporting requirements
  • Monthly Quantity Reconciliation
  • Standard vs Actual tracking for inventory
  • Tracking of scrap/write offs of inventory
  • Inventory provisioning working
  • Ensuring audit requirements pertaining to inventory
  • Accruals pertaining to other cost of sales

Intercompany Transactions and Fixed Assets

  • Intercompany payments and compliances
  • Managing compliance for all international payments
  • Preparation and tracking of all intercompany cross charges/debit notes
  • Preparation of Audit Schedules and requirements
  • Fixed Assets accounting and capital budget tracking
  • Review of Vehicle capitalization and recovery working along with perquisite taxes computation
  • Tracking of lease properties and accounting as per UGAAP and IGAAP

Others

  • Supporting all types of Audits Statutory, Internal, SOX, Group Audit, Tax etc.
  • Preparation of month end schedules
  • Preparing books of accounts, balance sheet and financial reporting monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Managing ad-hoc requirements
  • Testing and implementation of Internal control over financial reporting (ICFR)
  • Provide adequate support to finance and accounting team

Qualifications

job QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

Education and Experience

  • General knowledge of challenges associated with large US multinationals, manufacturing and/or biopharmaceutical entities
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience with General accounting in either a large accounting firm and/or large multinational company,
  • CA Intermediate/MBA Finance/CMA Intermediate
  • Experience with SAP
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is essential. Any other language is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal skills enabling effective communication in particular with senior level of management (incl. those without experience with tax)
  • Strong analytical skills, with a hands-on attitude to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and exercise initiative
  • Ability to work in a virtual multi-cultural team and to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of co-workers and other individuals
  • Willingness to travel, if required
