Role Objectives

• Strategic role to build foundations of a state-wide robust AI ecosystem.
• Self-starter with end-to-end responsibility of delivering high impact initiatives, leveraging a network of industry, academia and government stakeholders.
• Maintain AI thought leadership of Telangana.

Strategic

• Define T-AIM strategy and roadmap by leveraging the AI Framework to achieve maximum impact for innovators, user enterprises and government.
• Adopt a String of Pearls approach across stakeholders of Start-ups, Technology Companies, Enterprises, Academia & Government to catalyze and build a powerful AI ecosystem.
• Lead efforts to develop DS & AI policies for state in consultation with stakeholders.
• Explores alliances with international organizations & bodies to enhance the capabilities of DS & AI in the state.

AI in Action

• Implement T-AIM vision and execute strategy, build and manage team to deliver the agreed deliverables as provided in the MoA.
• Responsible for accelerating adoption of Artificial Intelligence by Core Industries and by Government Departments. Inculcate Open Innovation by partnering with Start-ups..
• Champion the cause of creating datasets for Grand challenges by the state government.
• Develop and execute skilling & talent programs to create the talent pipeline and fuel growth of AI.

Financial Management

• Raise / Generate funds from Government & industry partners to grow T-AIM towards a self-sustaining basis in the medium long term.

Other Responsibilities:

• Manage relationship with external agencies, partners, and government as appropriate to enable smooth operations and profitable growth of T-AIM.
• Defines & manage T-AIMs positioning both externally and internally; responds to a wide variety of questions and comments.
• Continually enhance own skills and builds knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information system.

• Management degree (MBA Strategy / Systems/ Marketing/ General) with excellent understanding of deep-tech.
• 10+ Years of overall experience of which at least 2 years in developing an ecosystem integrating various stakeholders including industry, academia, and government.
• Good understanding of start - up and DS&AI ecosystem.
• Must include that the candidate must have held leadership positions in the past.
• Appreciation of deep technology areas like Data Science, AI and associated products.
