SUPPLIER QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER Job in HAWORTH INDIA PTV.LTD.

OVERALL PURPOSEIdentify potential supplier in India and develop and maintain Haworth regional supply base. Perform supplier quality systems and process audit for compliance to Haworth specifications. Monitor supplier programs, products, and processes, utilizing ISIR process to verify quality and reliability meet Haworth requirements.KEY SERVICESand#61656; Support Haworth India plant sourcing function through qualifying new potential suppliers and implementing ISIR process for components Certification for all new, resourced and localized components.and#61656; Responsible for supplier quality problem of production parts, and ensure supplier problem of production parts are effectively resolved.and#61656; Use Haworths quality tools to train and coach supplier to improve their quality and capacity performance to meet Haworth requirements.and#61656; Perform regular process audit as required.and#61656; Document and report Supplier Profile History files for Haworth India plant.and#61656; Support corporate and regional supplier activities as requestedand#61656; Understand and use computer systems common to Haworth Furniture (Excel, Word, Project Management, etc.).RELATIONSHIPSA. Internal Customers - Frequent contact with plant Quality Dept., Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Production, including all levels of management.B. External Customers - Frequent contact with suppliers of materials, products, and tooling to relate and resolve quality requirements and specifications.

Minimum Requirements

Degree in engineering is a must, mechanical engineering background is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects.
