Job Summary About the role: Our Corporate Global Marketing team strategizes and develops marketing programs to help prospective customers understand how Gartner s expert guidance and tools enable smarter decisions and stronger performance on an organization s mission critical priorities. The team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging, and converting prospects through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences across the buyer journey. Gartner s social media team is seeking a results-driven Social Media Specialist to support the execution of our global marketing social media strategy. This position reports to our Senior Manager, Social Media. The ideal candidate is familiar with all elements of social media marketing operations, has a no limits mindset, can collaborate with multiple stakeholders, team members and peers, and is interested in becoming part of a high performing, data driven, innovative team. This role will be responsible for supporting the operational production of our marketing social media content and activities on all major social networks, including our employee advocacy program. What you will do: In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting our social media efforts, assisting with scheduling content, data tagging, community management, and analytics tracking across various social media channels. You'll ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity. Support the development of reports to evaluate key metrics and ROI to help inform future campaign planning and executions. Stay up to date with social media trends, changing algorithms, and emerging platforms to ensure that Gartner s social media presence remains innovative and effective. Proactively research competitors, perform some social listening and community management duties and work on various other special projects. Support the internal operations of our advocacy program including managing targeted groups of associates and internal newsletter curations Help support our PR department on social media including the curation and scheduling of press releases and our experts in the news. What you will need: 1-2 years experience with social media marketing preferably with a large, corporate company or institution Bachelor s Degree (preferred: Business, Marketing, Communication, Writing/Journalism) Superior attention to detail and scrupulous mindset; especially for data, social copywriting, editing and brand governance Familiarity with canva Digitally-savvy & brand curious Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and have strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow Ability to work in a hybrid, mostly remote environment What you will get: Competitive salary, generous paid time off policy, charity match program, Group Medical Insurance, Parental Leave, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Collaborative, team-oriented culture that embraces diversity.
