This role calls for an individual who can own all aspects of how network design and optimization impacts customer and shipper experience; manage performance, measure, analyse and then drive initiatives necessary to improve it. About the team

Flipkart is seeking a highly motivated individual to identify and develop game-changing fulfilment and network design solutions. As Senior Specialist at its centralized Network design team based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for building the next generation supply chain for Flipkart s various businesses. The Senior Specialist, SC Network Design and Optimization will lead the supply chain network optimization space with extensive and deep knowledge to independently lead and advise complex projects across multiple verticals. The role includes a holistic end-to- end supply chain assessment considering internal and external perspectives, comprehensive mapping, clear breakdown of results into decision-making processes such as network design and optimization, continuous improvement, process development, inventory strategy and segmentation, etc.

What you ll do:

• Works closely with Flipkart businesses, including business leaders, to understand relevant challenges, develop scope, and identify appropriate modeling approaches.

• Designs, builds and delivers supply chain network models. Ensures appropriate and correct data is provided for effective optimization analysis. Uses advanced knowledge to evaluate the network design and optimization work product, resolve and outline impacts to the business.

• Serves as the network optimization technical lead, providing direction on more sophisticated modeling scenarios to Network Strategy Lead(s).

• Develops the implementation plan for approved network design and optimization projects with business leads.

• Develops Flipkart Network Strategy & Optimization playbook.

• Lead the identification, assessment, selection and deployment of network analysis tools.

• Collect and validate the network data (flows, costs and service levels) of various supply chains of Flipkart & identify the opportunities to maintain competitive edge and grab first mover advantage through network/supply chain redesign.

• Develops customized network optimization training programs and deliver training to supply chain analysts and other relevant teams as necessary. Develops a strong understanding of customer needs by building and maintaining relationships across

• Flipkart. Drive incremental improvement vs. strategic and financial goals.

• Supports the development, execution, and implementation of more complex projects and process improvements across Supply Chain and Services Organization, driving continuous improvement.
