Job Summary

What you will do?

  • Figuring out the right market segments to reach out to-understanding the use-case that solves their most pressing communication problems and finding the right contacts to pitch these solutions to is the primary responsibility of this person.
  • We are looking to open up new markets and new customers and the ideal person for this role will be able to work independently and pull all stops to make this happen.
  • Based on the overall enterprise marketing strategy, source a customer list, reach out to and have the initial round of conversation with potential customers
  • Work with email marketing tools to create interest amongst potential customers and verticals
  • Explore channels of demand generation other than email to help feed the enterprise and SME pipelines.
  • Oversee unified campaigns in addition to email to help feed the top of the funnel
  • Work on a process for the smooth handing off of potential leads to the sales team
  • Work with the sales team to understand the conversion process and pitch in where needed
  • Measure every step of the outreach process and document it to ensure that we can improve and re-strategise wherever needed
  • Be the first point of contact for every customer during the entire outreach process and making sure that we have the right people in the loop during the conversation
  • Work with the content and the digital marketing teams to create content, outreach plans, webinars, events, etc. to help with the conversion process.
  • Work with our startup partnership manager to help build a pipeline of early-stage startups and startup partners in APAC we can work with

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a data-driven, sharp individual to lead the Demand Generation team. This involves understanding growing market segments in APAC and aligning that with how Exotel can work with them to drive customer communication in those segments.

  • Have 3-4 years experience in B2B demand generation
  • Have experience in mentoring or leading teams of 1-2 people
  • Have a keen interest in technology and communication
  • Believe in data-driven decision making
  • Have a working knowledge of Google Analytics, Kissmetrics, CRM, marketing automation, email marketing tools, database sourcing, etc.
  • Have good written and oral communication skills
  • have an understanding of how outbound lead generation works
  • Understand account-based marketing
  • Are interested in building and nurturing a community of influencers in the fastest-growing enterprise sectors in APAC
