Assistant Team Lead / Team Lead (Customer Marketing)
Are you passionate about customers? Cvent s Customer Marketing team is seeking a marketer to lead the charge in our ongoing efforts to help our global customer base maximize the value of their investment in Cvent. We want someone who shares our passion for customer success and who knows the value of strategic communications to maximize customer engagement and lifetime value.
As an Assistant Team Lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing segmented nurture streams based on the customer lifecycle focused on users of the product in order to support and drive product adoption, customer engagement, renewals, and growth within the Cvent customer base. You ll also develop messaging and implement programs designed to keep our customers in-the-know as our industry-leading platform evolves. You ll be a tireless advocate for our customers, working across multiple teams and marketing channels to ensure our customers have the information and resources they need to succeed.

Responsibilities
Design, assemble and implement segmented nurture streams based on customer lifecycle progression to drive higher engagement, increase product adoption, and support renewals.
- Draft, edit, and implement value-based customer product communication messaging for upcoming product releases, migrations, sunsets, technical updates, etc.
- Leverage experience with A/B and multivariate testing to continually optimize impact of campaign efforts.
Map and document nurture strategy, automation processes, programs and procedures.
- Effectively communicate deliverable timelines with cross-functional departments and internal marketing teams to meet program execution goals.
- Listen to, respond to, and engage with customers regularly to build positive rapport to cultivate best practices for improving customer programs.
Requirements
4+ years of total marketing experience in B2B tech marketing, customer marketing, communications, or demand generation.
Strong writing skills to draft engaging, customer-focused content and marketing copy
Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment prone to sudden changes in business priorities or agile product release schedule
Attention to detail, self-motivation in order to drive complex projects to completionacross multiple divisions and regions
Strength working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Executive Management, Product, Marketing, Sales, Client Services, etc.
Ability to analyse performance metrics for all programs to help guide strategy and identify areas of improvement
Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, Clarizen and other B2B/B2C Marketing Technologies
Education: BA/BS required in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
