POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsibility to deliver on local HR needs, translating and activating the business plans accordingly by providing efficient HRBP support to leaders. This job serves the interests of all Bayer business operating around Hyderabad. As the Product Supply and R&D organization is the major user of this resource, this function is being attached with HR BP Product Supply and R&D.
A data and statistical analysis center of pharma division is co-located and is the other significant user group of the services of this HR BP.
Interacts with employee representatives and links appropriate HR teams to assure a sound local HR service delivery. Ensures fair employee advocacy. Actively contributes to HR BP community group on country level in order to enhance HR network and infuse country perspective into business perspectives.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business & People Strategies
- Contributes to the respective business agenda in alignment with global/regional business strategy.
- Provides key business insights to help shape relevant country people strategy.
- Applies people strategy based on country specifics and respective business priorities.
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Helps to define the future workforce needs aligned with future business plan. Proactively implements relevant measures to develop the workforce accordingly.
- Enables leaders to develop their talent.
- Defines the recruiting needs with Business Leaders and local TA team
- Helps leaders define profiles of ideal candidates and is available for interviewing for various roles.
- Partners with the business to identify critical roles and build an external talent pipeline.
- Partners with leaders to define, implement and steer their Target Operating Model, reflecting the different needs of business within country framework.
- Advises, coaches and challenges business leaders on general organization & people related topics.
- Drives cultural agenda by tailoring global/ regional/ country enablers to region specific cultural elements. Shares best practices across the HR community.
- Ensures appropriate change management planning and interventions where/when needed.
- Fosters strong diverse and inclusive organizations
- Maintains sustainable employee relations and trustful relationships with employees and/or representatives. Ensures fair employee advocacy in all cases of grievances. Ensure compliances with regards to applicable labor laws.
- Assesses the local need for Employer Branding activities in line with business priorities. Engages with HR Solutions to develop suitable approaches to address those needs. Makes use of internal and external best practices.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build trustful relationships
- Strong influencing, conflict resolution, consulting and coaching skills
- Experienced in multidisciplinary projects and corresponding change management
- Business acumen: Broad and deep understanding of the business
- Broad and deep experience and knowledge of HR with 10+ years of HRBP with PG in HR
- Takes a strong stand with leaders when requires
- Ability to reduce complexity through innovation/ experimentation, i.e. to focus on the relevant things, which drive value
- Embraces the potential for digitalization in the HR space
- Ability to leverage data and interpret and generate talent and organizational insights

Travel: This role requires frequent travel to strategic sites like Shameerpet, Chandipa, Aurangabad, etc. as per business requirements.
