Software Engineering Specialist (azure Aas Power Bi) Job in Amdocs, Inc.

• Provide technical solution using Azure Technologies for Complex Data Warehouse BI applications.
• Abilityto understand high level technical solution & develop solution/code using Azure technology
• Ability to develop Azure functions using Python/Java.
• Perform AAS modeling with experience in working with and MDX queries along with Power BI.
• Develop Azure Databricks and Data factory Pipelines using Azure SQL server, Synapse or similar Data ingestion or ETL platforms.
• Abilityto do activities from Development to Deployment. Should be able to Code, Unit Test & Deploy.
• Experience in Developing Azure Deployment Processes and Strategies.
• Setup and Configure CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops.
• Effectively handle multiple work assignments, while consistently deliver high quality work
• Prepare deployment guide with all the code that must be migrated to QA/Production environment.
• Coordination with System Testing team to migrate the code to QA System Testing.
• Work with System Testing and UAT teams to analyze and resolve opened defects.
• Provide 24/7 support during the warranty period to projects after deployment to Production

Bachelors Degree in Computers or related field.
Total Experience - 4to 8years

• Should have good knowledge ofAzure Technologies and Architecture.
• Should have Expert inAAS, DAX, MDX queries, Datafactory, Databricks.
• Should have good Knowledge in Programming languages like Python, Java using Azure functions.
• Should be experienced in Data Ingestion and ETL Processes, Scheduling and Monitoring, Azure Devops processes, Azure Deployment processes and Strategies.
• Should have good knowledge of BI and Data Warehousing and ETL and data modelling.
• Knowledge of Migrating legacy applications to Azure/Cloud is a plus.
