Job Summary

As a Developer within the Astadia R&D Team, you will focus on enhancing and maintaining key products such as the CobolBridge plugin for Visual Studio Code and the front-end for the Turnstone tool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand Astadia products.
  • Enhance and maintain the CobolBridge plugin for Visual Studio Code.
  • Contribute to the development of the SPA front-end for the Turnstone tool.
  • Collaborate with Product teams and Release Engineering to deliver high-quality results.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment that embraces change.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Angular and React frameworks.
  • Experience in Visual Studio Code plugin development.
  • Familiarity with building Single Page Applications (SPAs) and working with REST APIs.
  • Strong UI/UX design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and keen attention to detail.
  • Passion for development, including side projects and staying current with industry trends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Java or C# programming.
  • Familiarity with R&D product development processes.
