Job Summary
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced ITIL Change Management Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the Change Management process, ensuring that changes are recorded, approved, and implemented as per the defined standards and procedures. You will lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, manage audits, and ensure compliance with both internal and customer processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the production environment, minimizing risks, and continuously improving the Change Management process. Responsibilities: Change Recording & Approval: Ensure that every change is properly recorded and approved before implementation. Categorize changes based on their type (Standard, Normal, Expedited, Emergency) and ensure they follow the defined process. CAB Meetings: Convene and chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring all changes are discussed, reviewed, and approved. Circulate the Minutes of Meeting (MOM) to stakeholders after each CAB session. Unauthorized Change Prevention: Prevent unauthorized changes from being implemented that could potentially impact production systems. Periodic Audits: Ensure regular audits are conducted as per Wipro and customer processes. Work to close audit gaps within the agreed timelines. Change Communication & Reporting: Report on agreed change KPIs and ensure effective communication of changes to all relevant stakeholders. Implementation Plans: Ensure changes are implemented according to the established plans, with no manual errors, by setting up a 4-eye review process for each change. Risk Assessment: For high-risk or high-impact changes, ensure that risks are properly assessed and that Wipro and customer processes are followed. Post-Implementation Reviews: Conduct reviews after change implementation to validate the status of changes against predefined success criteria. Continuous Service Improvement: Identify and implement service improvements to enhance the overall maturity of the change management process. Key Skills and Competencies: ITSM Experience: 8-10 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), particularly in Change Management and other ITIL processes. Certifications: ITIL V3 / 2011 Foundation or Intermediate certification is required. Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with multiple technical teams, face customers, and coordinate effectively with vendors. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex change management concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Qualifications: Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). Experience: Proven experience in ITSM processes, particularly Change Management, with strong leadership capabilities in managing change initiatives.
