Job Summary

To kickstart our unique corporate development practice, we re seeking to hire an experienced senior analyst.

Our approach can be understood via following principles:

  • We plan to acquire good businesses at a fair valuation and then hold them forever.
  • We intend to be business owners, not operators. Which means we keep acquired businesses running as is without much interference.
  • We expect to be founder-friendly because we re founders ourselves
  • We deploy our own sources of funds and our patience is infinite.

Types of businesses we re interested in acquiring

  • Profit-generating tech/software businesses based out of India
    • We don t plan to acquire for strategic alignment
  • Ideally bootstrapped or raised small rounds of funding
  • Businesses that VCs and PEs typically wouldn't be interested in

Expectations from the role

  • Evolving our investment and acquisition thesis
  • Identifying companies/opportunities that are aligned to our thesis
  • Sourcing initial interest from identified companies
  • Doing financial modeling for different scenarios of future returns from this opportunity
  • Building and presenting the opportunity to investment advisory committee
  • Coordinating DD/legal to get the deal to completion

Ideal candidate would have:

  • Previous experience of sourcing, evaluating and closing tech/software deals.
  • Strong analytical and logical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Prior business experience a plus
  • Negotiation and legal skills a plus
