Senior Software Engineer Qa Job in Wingify

As a Senior Engineer-QA, you will be working on ourProduct VWO(https://vwo.com), all our products which include our customer-facing application, JavaScript library, and Mobile SDK. We work iteratively and ship code often, and are looking for people who can constantly monitor the state of our application from a quality perspective.

You will be responsible for creating, executing, and improving the test plans, and implementing test automation. You will be working closely with the engineering team. As an engineer at Wingify, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our products that are used by over 5000+ customers across 90+ countries.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure that our products are awesome and of high quality.
• Confirm, verify bugs, and determine steps to reproduce.
• Design and implementation of internal automation tools for QA.
• Building penetration, load, performance, API, and UAT test suites for our applications.
• Work closely with Product, Marketing Teams on projects to understand requirements and create, automate, execute, manage and report test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Own QA activities for scrum team and drive scoping, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling test activities
• Understand deployment scenarios and manage deployment to test environments.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in testing and maintainability with the organization

Requirements:

• Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools is desirable.
• Well versed in all aspects ofTest Automationlike functional, performance, stress testing, etc. using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, PHPUnit, etc.
• Experience of using*NIX(Unix, Linux, etc.) is a must.
• Knowledge of browsers and user interface design techniques.
• Knowledge of build/deployment automation and continuous integration.
• Experience in testing products in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, PHP, Python.
• Well versed with internet technologies and infrastructure.
• Experience working with automated performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Grinder, NeoLoad, LoadUI)
• Experience in performing security reviews of application designs, source code, and deployments as required, covering all types of applications (web application, web services, mobile applications, SaaS)
• Experience with security tools and products (ZAP, AppScan, Vega, IronWasp, etc ) would be an added advantage.
• Contribution to open-source projects related to QA is a strong plus.
• Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethics.
