Job Summary
  • Monitoring internal, external and peer group C&B data/trends and provide relevant inputs for maintaining competitiveness and effectiveness of Total Rewards programs for the region/country.
  • Job evaluation /career level mapping as & when required based on companys Job Evaluation methodology.
  • Timely participation in all the relevant compensation & benefits surveys with the contracted vendors across India and Philippines.
  • Creation salary grids & ranges.
  • Creation of Salary Budget proposal in line with business requirement and Global compensation guidelines.
  • Delivery of the Annual Performance Appraisal processes.
  • Delivering off-cycle compensation changes from time to time including mid-year salary changes, promotion/progression management.
  • Benchmarking benefits programs and propose changes to ensure alignment with the industry/peers.
  • Maintaining and managing effective relationships with 3rd party suppliers across the C&B spectrum locally. Responsible for first level contract negotiation / service delivery process with suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and support with timely roll out of revised labor law policies and changes in Govt regulations as part of pay structures and policy design
  • Timely updating/preparation of operating guidelines and policies related to Total Rewards programs
  • Addressing first level queries from employees/other relevant stakeholders (TA/HRBP/HR Ops.) related to interpretation and application of compensation and benefit policies & practices across the organization.
  • Delivery of organizations Wellness program
  • Co-ordination with the Global Mobility team related to employees movement across Sun Life Locations.
  • Creation as well as provision of relevant data for HR reporting and Analytics (HR dashboards, Balanced Scorecards, ad-hoc HR analytics projects etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with the organizations data security requirements at all times.
  • Total Rewards professional with 5-8 years of relevant experience around applicable C&B Practices, Market Trends and application of required local labor laws.
  • Experience in a medium to large multi-national organization or consultancy. Candidate with mix of experience in a line role as well as consulting is preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent MS Office (excel, ppt, word) skills. Knowledge of Tableau and other data analysis tools such as Python/R is an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Exposure around interacting and managing effective relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers/vendors.
  • Strong negotiation capability to ensure effective management of and delivery through suppliers.
  • A go-getter with the ability to work under own initiative.
  • Research-oriented and lateral-thinking mind set.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and curious. Willing to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of Compensation concepts.
  • Have high attention to detail.
  • Process driven and good at project management/multi-tasking.
  • Stress tolerant and well organized with the ability to prioritize a heavy workload.
  • Knowledge of employee mobility is an added advantage

Qualification :
  • MBA-HR or other equivalent Masters degree
  • 5-8 years of relevant C&B experience
  • Experience working in/with BFSI Captive/IT/ITes organization
  • Relevant Certification in Compensation, Benefits & HR Analytics
  • Workday experience in desirable
  • Knowledge of Analytics software/tools is desirable
