Senior Software Engineer Snowflake Job in Valuemomentum

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and development support to client to build and maintain data pipeline
• Develop data mapping documents listing business and transformational rules
• Develop, unit test, deploy and maintain data pipelines
• Analyse source specifications and build data mapping documents
• Identify and document applicable non-functional requirements
• Understand profiling results and validate data quality rules
• Utilize data analysis tools to construct and manipulate datasets to support analyses
• Collaborate with and support Quality Assurance (QA) in building functional scenarios and validating results

Qualification, Skills & Experience:

• Have working experience range from 2-10 years in data projects with focus on data integration and ingestion
• Hands on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure for data services
• Hands on experience working primarily on Snowflake
• Good experience on Snowflake and Snowflake architecture
• Azure experience must be focused on Azure Data Factory, Azure storage solutions (such as Blob and Azure Datalake Gen2) and Azure data pipelines
• Expertise in building data pipelines for Snowflake using Snowpipe, Snowpark, SnowSQL s and stored procedures.
• Experience in DBT for Snowflake
• Knowledge and experience on Big data and Data Vault methodology
• Experience in power shell, shell scripting and python
• Experience in building data pipelines for large volumes of data across disparate data sources
• Exposure to data modeling for Snowflake
• Experience in working with agile/scrum methodologies.
