Senior Software Engineer Data Modeler Job in Valuemomentum

Responsibilities:

• Analysing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
• Evaluating existing data systems.
• Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
• Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
• Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
• Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
• Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
• Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.

Qualification, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
• Have working experience of 3-8 years in physical and relational data modelling in Insurance.
• Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools in Insurance
• Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis in Insurance
• Experience in design and build the Data Model for multi-LoB in Insurance Domain (P&C, Life) using Data Vault 2.0 Principles
• Experience in Agile Methodology to design Data Model
• Experience in Dimension modeling/Star/Snowflake Model
• Experience in Common Data Warehouse Model for P&C, Life
