System Architect - Security Job in Ushur

Ushur s product development team is looking for brilliant and experienced software architects to join our System Architecture group that designs the industry s leading intelligent customer experience automation platform. The role requires the candidate to be an experienced programmer with the ability to influence strategic technical decisions required for the product roadmap.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Experience with creating functional specifications, designing secure software systems and hands on implementation
• Influence architecture decisions and designs keeping focus on security, scalability and reliability
• Contribute to ideation, proposals for secure custom integrations, and customer facing solutions and help with implementation..
• Evangelize security and technology frameworks that can help improve the platform
• Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to determine best practices and requirements for software
• Lead by example with a strong sense of feature ownership, agility and an urge for continuous learning
• Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
• Maintain product architecture documentation, illustrations and guidelines

Qualifications

• 6 - 10 years of professional software design and development with hands on implementation experience
• Proven experience as software architect
• Experience with more than one programming language like Java, NodeJS with backend and frontend frameworks is required
• Experience in designing low-latency and highly scalable backend infrastructure
• Experience with designing systems with Kubernetes or other open source container orchestration system
• Strong programming skills in designing and implementing multi-tier applications
• RESTful API & micro-service design and development, event-driven architecture experience
• Proficiency working in Linux environment
• Strong Software development fundamentals, architecture styles, algorithms, data structure and problem solving skills
• Good understanding and experience with web applications, cyber security and open source technologies
• Exposure to vulnerability and penetration testing
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is required
• Awareness of tools and techniques to achieve network security, data protection and business continuity
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with creating architectural diagrams and design documentation using UML
• A postgraduate or bachelors degree in computer science or software systems

Nice-to-haves

• Professional programs certification in Java/nodeJS or others is preferred
• Professional certifications related application security
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP environment
• Familiarity with YAML/Swagger
