Job Summary

Job Synopsis: Responsibility of budgeting, forecasting, preparation of MIS, analyzing variances, cash flow preparation, review the company s accounting transactions, analyzingfinancialstatements, handling audit. Fair amount of knowledge about monthly statutory payments and direct taxation, statutory compliance, cash flow management. Should be tech savvy and should be able to leverage Netsuite ERP and identify areas for automation within finance.

The main roles & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial planning and modeling
  • Provides key financial analysis and management reporting by managing various monthly reporting processes.
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly/periodic reports which includes monthly MIS, time sheets, client gross margins etc.
  • Preparing investor reports.
  • Budgeting and reforecasting
  • Experience MIS & Net Suite
  • GAAP Revenue recognition.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Tracking actuals vs budgets.
  • Preparing and monitoring cash flow.
  • Lead statutory and other audits.

Qualification, Experience & Skill Set Required:

  • Chartered Accountant with a minimum experience of 4-8 years of working in a technology company and should have exposure to both FP&A and controllership. Should have working knowledge of very good at working on ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Balances personal strengths and weaknesses with the strengths and weaknesses of others. Recognized as a professional for transparent relations and for seeking the best results. Demonstrates sensitivity to the effects of own identities, behaviors, affects, attitudes, values, and beliefs on others.
  • Communication: Communicates complex messages/issues clearly and credibly. Has proficiency in stating the solutions in a complete form, without leaving any questions in the mind of receiver. Captures cues from diverse listeners to assess when and how to change planned communication approach to effectively deliver message.
  • Planning & Prioritizing: Plans and prioritizes broad list of deadlines with alternatives. Accurately scopes and secures resources needed to accomplish projects on time. Need to have timely feedback to change as needed and evaluate alternatives.
  • Team Work: Builds relationships within and outside the team. Identifies minimal & ideal conditions of others during negotiations. Negotiates based on firsthand information collected and both sides avoid using personal opinions.
  • Analytical & Decision Making: Is sought out or consulted by others for advice and solutions on how to best interpret and use information. Identifies gaps in information and makes assumptions in order to continue analysis and/or take actions.
  • Continuous Learning: Applies his / her new learnings blended with the past to implement the plans based on the criticality of the situations. Adapts himself to the changes of the organization with new learnings while able to foresee the benefits of emerging technologies.
