Job Summary
  • Good Analytical and Communication skills.
  • 4-6 years of system administration experience or network administration including database.
  • Providing support for both software and hardware issues to users and other team members.
  • Good working experience in both Windows and Linux based environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of virtualisation and managing servers like VMware, KVM, and other Network servers etc.
  • Excellent working experience of LAN, WAN management and network devices, like Router, Switches and Firewalls and ensure its regular backup and maintenance..
  • Working experience in OS Installation and troubleshooting Windows, Mac, Linux..
  • Configuration and management of Windows Active Directory, Domain controller and group policies for end users.
  • Working with Windows Registry, defrag tools and boot up configuration.
  • Installation and Management of servers like IPA, SAMBA, LDAP, and Storage server and other SQL servers..
  • Create Data Backup recovery for Windows and Linux environments and verify the backups..
  • Good knowledge of powershell/shell scripting and automation tools.
  • Installation and configuration of monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios and network flow monitoring tools etc.
  • Installation and configuration of Antivirus server and client management.
  • Maintaining the server room security and other access control devices.
  • Performs regular audits of server security and websites exposed outside to the world.
  • Documenting any processes which employees need to follow in order to successfully work within our computing system.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ensures all the problems are resolving in a timely manner and following SLAs.
  • Ability to prioritise a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
  • Experience in a 24x7 environment.
  • Good communication skills.
