Job Summary

POWER BI Senior Engineer JD

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft PowerBI Developer to help our client explore derive meaningful insights from large, complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as an individual contributor as part of delivery teams.
  • Working with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into written requirements, which can be understood by technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Building compelling, interactive, and actionable reporting on top of structured data models.
  • Supporting the full BI lifecycle from requirements analysis through design & development and on into release and support/maintenance phases
  • Create technical POCs & solution demos
  • Contribute in scoping, estimating and proposing of technical solutions
  • Provides technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration and technical management.
  • Must have hands on experience with tools and processes to improve/maintain system performance and stability in the Production environment
  • Applicant should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment as per requirements.

Technical Skills (Must Have)

4+ years of PowerBI development experience

SNo Skill Area Years of experience Level of Expertise 1 Designing, developing, and deploying BI solutions using Microsoft BI technologies including SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI, Excel, SSAS, and Azure Data Services. 3+ Advanced 2 T-SQL language/query experience. 3+ Advanced 3 Strong QA and troubleshooting skills 3+ Advanced 4 knowledge of Visualization and Data Modelling with DAX queries, functions and formula 4 Advanced 5 Hands on experience in Rest API Development 1 Intermediate 6 Critical & creative thinking. 3 Intermediate 7 Understanding of Dimensional modelling Advanced

Technical Skills (Good to Have)

Hands on one or multiple of the following areas:
