LUMINATE Control Tower Luminate Execution Portfolio

Job Description/Summary:

• Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI
• Understanding of Supply Chain operations and customize information delivery to enable users make decisions
• Understand business needs and translate requirements to technical specifications
• Experience in working on DAX and MQuery
• Understanding data modelling in Power BI and awareness of industry best practices
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions at an Enterprise level with large data volumes
• Drive innovation in developing reports that drive business value for users and drive user adoption
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses in MySQL
• Develop and update technical documentation
• This will include shifts so should be ok to work on shifts (6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm)

Responsibilities:

• Understand the implemented solution design
• Enhance/Change the design based on new business requirements by the customer
• Single Point of contact for all customer requests
• Adheres to priority-based issue resolution based on impact + urgency
• Identify Root cause and focus on preventing problem recurrence.
• Will be responsible to close customer tickets logged on SalesForce related to BI

Desired Skills:

• Display ownership in end to end delivery of BI projects
• Understanding of Statistical methods
• Experience in working with Power BI including DAX, MQuery, Database modelling, Data Aggregation
• Industry experience in Supply Chain is preferred
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Certification in MCSA: BI Reporting or at an equivalent level. Excellent Client Communication is a MANDATE
  

Required skills and experience:

• This position requires someone who is self-driven, agile, quick learner and a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
• Experience in supporting SaaS products
• Understanding of MuleSoft, Integration Framework, Azure Architecture and Java code
• Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred. A combination of bachelors degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree.
• Current or prior experience working in Management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center or Excellence settings preferred
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user and management. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required
