Job Summary
This role will: Support end to end management of Markets Onboarding Process Governance including revising existing processes and rolling out new ones. Provide FM onboarding process subject matter expertise to support Markets Onboarding BAU and change initiatives. Assistance in delivering reports on regulatory responses and audit management. Embed new policy and processes into BAU after effectively engaging the network. Engage with Country & Hub stakeholders for effective implementation of global processes. Co-ordinate the completion and approvals of dispensation/deviation requests from countries Understand the main business drivers for success in Markets Onboarding processes. Manage end to end updates and improvements for key processes based on data and information from multiple sources. Work closely with Compliance, Legal & operational support teams to ensure Markets Onboarding Process requirements are kept up to date with the latest requirements & regulations, and any exceptions are appropriately escalated, reported, and managed. Highlight risks to management and actively monitor them to reduce the likelihood of occurrence. Leading process remediation based on gaps and issues identified. Be responsive to emerging FM regulatory risk situations to collaboratively delivery resolution/risk reduction with BAU and other teams as and where needed. The role will suit a person who is: Interested in an opportunity to own and improve the Bank s processes, such that they better satisfy the need for simplicity, efficiency and evidencing of the Bank s compliance with its investor protection obligations; comfortable collaboratively problem solving in a changing environment; and has a good eye for regulatory detail. Has a sufficiently deep understanding of the Markets onboarding process and good exposure to risk management of global processes. Strategy The role holder is responsible for supporting the Global Process for Markets Onboarding area while staying ahead of regulations through industry and stakeholder engagement. Lead implementation of process improvements / changes as applicable to Markets onboarding area Business Support end to end management of FM onboarding Process Governance including revising existing processes and rolling out new ones. Processes This role sits in the Corporate Institutional Bank (CIB), Markets COO organisation and is responsible for supporting end to end ownership Markets onboarding process including risk management, governance and process / platform change delivery of the capability. People & Talent To effectively manage the above listed capabilities, the role holder will work with a team of subject matter experts to: support the Global Process Owner for Markets onboarding related activities. provide domain area support of the capability to the network. Risk Management Support FM Onboarding Governance Risk & Control related activities. Assessing the FM Onboarding processes and identifying potential process improvement projects. Partner with GPO leads to review and prioritize Book of Work Reviewing/ Completing Business Impact Analysis, Operational Risk Assessments, BRD/FSA reviews to Support the FM Onboarding Change teams. Facilitate workshops/meetings/trainings to the staff in hubs/countries. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
