Job Summary
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Full ownership of the strategy and feature set in for the video capture (camera), IoT devices and related product areas of focus
Market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case, collateral, product strategy, and product positioning
Define a strategy for the product s evolution to support business and customer needs
Create product specifications, product requirements documentation, prioritize requirements and maintain a roadmap of the features being developed
Act as the subject matter expert for the product s capabilities in pre-and post-sales discussions.
Collaborate with the engineering team building the product to clarify requirements and specifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent years of experience
7+ years of experience building and shipping products that include enterprise grade video capture & ecosystem-related IoT devices in the security space
Ability to understand business and technical requirements, capture and summarize key points, and communicate them at levels appropriate to your audience
Experience with Confluence and JIRA
Ability to work effectively with all areas of the organization, from engineering to sales
A strong understanding of video security and safety devices and systems
Worked with ODMs & design houses in the entire cycle from concept, to industrial, mechanical, electrical design as well as the integration of basic vision firmware SDK supplied by an ODM or design house.
A passion for the Smart Video world and what it can enable for human productivity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates with qualifications in one or more of these areas will be given preferred consideration:
Direct experience working on enterprise grade visual communication & messaging products such as video management system UI
Understanding and operational knowledge of all flavors of IP networks including mobile nets, network clouds and associated networking protocols.
Understanding of modern artificial intelligence approaches
Understanding of SaaS principles
Experience managing a team of PMs
Experience with software development, product design, or interaction design
Experience performing product-oriented quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis
