Were looking for an analytical, result-driven lead who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage team processes, releases, and systems
Working with the product and business teams to identify scopes of improvements
Design and develop databases for real-time, high availability financial data
Will be working with MongoDB, Redis, Javascript, Node.js
Architect and build the backend for corresponding web service (Nodejs and related frameworks)
Identify engineering targets, monitoring, reports, alerts requirements
Hire, mentor, and develop a motivated engineering team
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with working with Backend Technologies
Experience Managing teams
Strong systems, architecture and database fundamentals, experience with scaling web technologies
Prior experience with Javascript (Node.js), MongoDB
Interest (and/or experience) in the financial/stock market space - interest trumps experience
