Responsibilities The Production manager is in charge of all the manufacturing of the apparels in the factory unit. He has to examine the finished product carefully and look for flaws in them. The flaws found in manufacturing have to be rectified immediately. He will be also in charge of packaging these apparels He has to check for the quality of the raw materials and standardize it He has to coordinate with the vendors and Suppliers. He has to take reports from each of them about the working of the department. He has to ensure that all the manufacturing targets are met . The safety procedures have to be implemented by them in the factory . They have to liaise between the management and the workers. Discussion with other team members (like merchants, fabric manager, cutting team ). Looking after job works (such as printing, embroidery, garment dying etc) and taking decision on selection vendors for job work. Meet with buyer representatives and understand about quality requirements of each buyer.
