What you will do for Sectona

As a product manager for Privileged Access Product, you will help take Sectona PAM platform to the next level. You will be responsible for expanding on Cross-platform technology to support industry wide customer initiatives across onprem & cloud initiatives. Product managers play a highly visible role in the company. This role will involve

• Working with engineering team in requirements analysis by engaging with prospective customers & preparing design documentation for new features
• Planning & designing use-cases for integrating PAM platform with third party solutions like ticketing software, vulnerability management systems.
• Work along with engineering lead in planning work estimation models for required product engineering tasks
• Ensure quality of software product by helping to manage software development and build process
• Plan & prioritize product engineering activities as per business & customer requirements
• Ensure testing life cycle management of the application covering functional, security & performance areas in an agile environment
• Build, maintain & execute application security development policies, procedures & standards.
• Assist product marketing teams to present early releases and provide inputs for marketing activities.

Skills you require

• A background in network security, and an understanding of the problems IT Administrators face, and the workflows common in that environment, either by direct work experience or by building products IT Administrators use, is a plus.
• Understanding of remote access protocols (VPN, VNC, RDS, SSH, web proxies, VDI, etc).
• Familiar with application layer protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS)
• Familiar with public cloud products and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• A process-driven mindset around discovering problems, validating solutions, and measuring business impact
• Test Methodologies, working with release procedures, QA process and software defect tracking; proven expert level skills on implementing test methodologies and tools
• Background with managing products used by end-users and/or IT administrators on a daily basis
• Bachelors degree or global equivalent in an IT, business or sales related field.
• Relevant certifications in in product development environment is a plus.
