Responsibilities:

If you are an individual who is extremely self-motivated and have the technical skills to analyze data, then we are looking for you! A day in this role would involve performing analysis on data from various e-commerce systems like analytics, CRM, marketing, etc. and finding opportunities to improve business performance. You will be interacting with and presenting to C-level executives and senior client stakeholders on a regular basis, and it is important that you are exceptional at communicating your analysis in business terms. A more boring descriptive illustration of this role is as below

- Understand business context and fuzzy problems from client stakeholders to define analytical solutions that can be delivered as projects

- Brainstorm with internal SMEs to breakdown analytical solutions into technical requirements

- Collaborate with internal teams and individuals to ensure timely execution of projects

- Use SQL, Python and other analytical tools to cater to ad-hoc reporting and insight requests

- Use visualization tools to build automated dashboards that are customized to clients

- Develop and maintain technical documentation for both external and internal teams

- Be a liaison between the technical and business teams, across both client and internal orgs

Eligibility:

- 2+ years of experience working in relevant analytical roles

- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, Python and Excel

- High aptitude and critical thinking capability

- Prior experience working with storage systems like BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.

- Prior experience working with dashboarding tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc.

- Prior experience working with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Omniture Site Catalyst, etc.

- Prior experience working with e-Commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, etc.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

- Proactive in taking up ownership of project responsibilities

- Excellent logical, analytical and communication skills to interact with relevant stakeholders

- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams without formal authority

- Ability to coach junior resources and manage their workload

Preferred:

- Proficiency in advanced statistical concepts and machine learning

- Experience working on analytical problems involving forecasting, clustering, and classification

- Prior experience working with tag management tools like GTM, Tealium, etc.

- Prior experience working with A/B testing tools like VWO, Google Optimize, etc.

- Ability to grasp complex technical concept and make them easily understandable in text and pictures while paying attention to detail

- Eagerness to contribute to building delivery and organizational capabilities
