About the role:
The Account Executiveis responsible for managingkey client relationships forthe PSU accounts across Western India region. S/hedrives the total strategic customer engagement and is accountable for driving innovation adoption, leading global SW, Cloud and Services growth, end-to-end satisfactionthroughout the customer lifecycle. The individual will lead and coordinate SAP's efforts across all lines of business and board areas - orchestrating all SAP parties around a single, clear articulated 3 to 5 year joint innovation roadmap and account strategy, The incumbentwill lead consultatively by shaping the client's digital transformation roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Financial Acumen
- Understanding the customers entire end-to-end business model and abilityto use that knowledge to develop unique SAP enterprise-wide solutions
- Conversing with executives about financial directional, potential benefit to their P&L and Balance Sheet of deploying SAP software to support progress on their strategic business imperatives
Influencing the Customer
- Identifying SAPs value elements to build insights
- Creating and delivering an insight that leads to an SAP solution
- Conversing with executives across multiple topics such as: their strategic business imperatives; their end-to end processes; the potential cost of software and deployment implementation;
- Influencing the team and executives to walk away from pursuing a deal to drive a long term vision at the customer
- Conversing with a customer about the differentiated business capabilities uniquely enabled by SAPs digital framework
- Positioning the advantages and challenges of various digital framework implementation engagement models
Managing the Account as a Business
- Influencing and leadingfunctions and geographies to identify innovative and provocative points of view (POV) that help differentiate SAP as the digital platform of choice
- Orchestrating the Virtual Account Teams
Demand Management & Pipeline Health
- Understanding key indicators of pipeline health (Coverage, Pace, Balance and Quality) and ability to recognize issues that must be addressed
- Motivating customers to participate in SAP events
Experience & Skills Requirement:
- 12+ years of business experience in Sales of complex business software / IT solutions
- 5+ years of Large Account Management experience,deep industry/domain expertise
- Strong knowledge of the SAP offerings
- Knowledge of financial, competitive, regulatory environment
- Strategic thinker, high degree of creativity and innovation
