General role description:

Support implementation of these decision support solutions at our airline customers
Executing activities like model calibration/estimation, data validation and analysis, training on forecasting and optimization models that help an airline adopt our solutions
Execute Operations Research and Analytical Consulting services that help an airline in select the right models, optimize practices and business processes
Help improve our current models and calibration processes by making them more accurate and efficient

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

Masters degree (preferably in Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science or other analytical areas). Bachelors degree holders with excellent credentials may also apply.
Building models for real-world predictive modeling problems)
Familiarity with data extraction & manipulation tools (knowledge of SQL is a must)
Interest and aptitude in reading published literature from academia and industry on latest tools & techniques, as well as an ability to translate them into practice.
Good programming skills (expertise in PySpark or R is a must)
Excellent communication skills and strong problem solving and analytical skills

Desired:
Familiarity with airline domain
Experience in machine learning and forecasting models
Experience in Cloud and data warehousing
Experience with programming in Java or other similar languages
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, D3.js etc.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
