Job Summary The Role: Analyze current and past Operational/financial data and performance Prepare reports and projections based on analysis Evaluate current Opex/Capex expenditures compare with the Budget Prepare financial models for investment opportunities Establish and evaluate profitability of business units Identify trends in Operational financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement Coordinate with other members of the Ops/finance team to review Ops/financial information and forecasts Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as yearly growth, return on assets, return on equity and earnings per share Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve Operational performance Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on risk Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company s goals and financial standing Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function Conducting market research to identify financial trends Analysing financial data to prepare reports and projections Using financial and Operations data forecasting and modelling to guide an organisation s investments Evaluating financial and Operations risks of potential investments
