Role Overview:

Razorpay, a leading full-stack financial services organization, is seeking an experienced Associate Business Operations professional to manage the merchant onboarding process within Razorpay POS. This role requires a candidate with 3-5 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in data analysis and communication. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for merchants, driving improvements in the process, and supporting our broader business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchant Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, ensuring new merchants have a seamless and efficient experience when integrating with Razorpay POS.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve onboarding-related issues swiftly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to merchant activation.
  • Process Improvement: Use critical thinking and data analysis to evaluate and enhance onboarding processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
  • Data Analysis: Manage and analyze large datasets using Excel, providing actionable insights to improve business operations and decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across sales, product, and customer support to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and address any challenges that arise.
  • Merchant Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely with merchants and internal stakeholders about onboarding progress, status updates, and issue resolution.
  • KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to merchant onboarding, identify trends, and suggest areas for improvement.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in operations or a related role, with a focus on merchant onboarding or business operations.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
    • Solid experience with PowerPoint for presentations and reporting.
  • Industry Knowledge: Exposure to the financial services or fintech industry is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with both merchants and internal teams effectively.
