THE CHALLENGE As Demyst s Business Operations Associate, you will establish and enforce operational procedures that promote organizational efficiency and resilience across various domains such as business operations, legal, risk and compliance, revenue operations, and data operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Operations, you will partner with key stakeholders of each domain to design, develop, and implement fit-for-purpose processes and procedures that position Demyst for scale and to capture the opportunities in front of it. While this is a fully-remote role, successful candidates are expected to be based in Bengaluru where Demyst is building its next hub. We will also hold certain workshops and fun activities from time to time that we expect the team to attend. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify areas for process improvement within various departments and work collaboratively to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance productivity Proactively identify operational challenges and propose practical solutions to address them, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and clarity across Demyst Provide training and support to team members to ensure understanding and adherence to operational processes and procedures Play a role in long-term planning, project reporting, and implementing change control processes Work closely with the VP, Operations and COO on other special planning and departmental projects Oversee and report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics related to projects within your sphere of control Collaborate with all business lines to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values Requirements Bachelor s degree in program management, business or public administration, social sciences, finance / accounting, or related fields 2+ years of experience in business operations, process improvement, or related roles Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends Astute business and commercial decision-making Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively Proficiency in modern collaboration tools like Gsuite, Asana, Jira, and Pipedrive Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accuracy and quality in all tasks Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work environment Benefits Operate at the forefront of the external data industry, and work with the largest industry players in an emerging field that is fueling growth and technological advancement globally Have an outsized impact in a rapidly growing team, offering real autonomy and responsibility for client outcomes Stretch yourself to help define and support something entirely new Distributed team and culture, with fully flexible working hours and location Collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic culture Generous benefits and compensation plans ESOP awards available for tenured staff Join an established, and scaling data technology business Transfer to US and Australia offices possible for top performers after two years
