Roles and Responsibilities

Instruments:

• UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Fluorescence Spectrophotometer, Digester,
• Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, Chemical Oxygen
• Demand Analyzer, High Volume Sampler, Bomb Calorimeter,
• Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrophotometer
• Anaerobic Bioreactor, Etc.

Lab Works:

• FOR SOIL (estimation of pH, acidity, alkalinity, organic carbon, bulk density, particle density, porosity, conductivity, nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, moisture content of soil sample)
• FOR WATER (identification of microfauna of water, estimation of pH, temperature, turbidity, transparency, conductivity, total dissolved solids, total. suspended. solid, total. solid, dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, total acidity, total alkalinity, chlorinity, salinity, hardness, sodium, potassium, residual chlorine, iron, phosphate, Silicate, nitrate, nitrite, CO2 of water (free, combined).
• Estimation of protein, carbohydrate, chlorophyll of green leaves, measurement technique of primary productivity, heavy metal toxicity on plants and animals {zinc}, Heavy metal analysis of water and sediment sample.
• FOR AIR- (Suspended Particulate Matters Calculation in ambient atmosphere by using High Volume Air Sampler.
• FOR SOLID WASTE- Proximate Analysis (Moisture Content, Total Solid, Total Volatile Solid and Ash Content) and Ultimate Analysis

Desired Candidate Profile

• M.Sc in Chemistry with Min 10 Years of Experience
• Ph.D. in Chemistry with Min 4 Years of Experience
