Description

This opening is your chance to work in the rapidly expanding field of computer security, in a company that is the world leader in Security SaaS services with outstanding growth rates.Responsibilities include understanding the technical components of the project, proposing an execution plan and ensuring it's delivery with key stakeholders from the product management and engineering teams as they deliver new capabilities through the development and testing cycles and into production following short release cycles. Ability to successfully and enthusiastically facilitate challenging projects is a key requirement for this role.

This position is for Qualys Pune development center.Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage complex projects by developing a detailed program plan and monitoring progress in order to effectively deliver products.
• Ability to understand technical requirements, facilitate meetings and working sessions with global development teams, including defining an agenda and preparing meeting minutes.
• Maintain a detailed program plan that accurately reflects the status of each assigned project.
• Continually communicate the status of each project/program and provide regular status updates to management.
• Promote clarity and alignment with the overall company strategy while maintaining focus on customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
• Strive for open, effective and healthy working relationships.

Required qualifications:

• 6-8 yrsyears of professional experience in Software industry, including 3 years of proven experience in project management in a deadline-driven environment working with global engineering teams.
• Exceptional attention to details combined with a capacity to stay organized while managing competing priorities.
• Ability to influence team members and stakeholders without any direct authority.
• Track record of defining, measuring and improving KPIs in different areas like engineering, quality & delivery.
• Hands on knowledge of different software development methodologies, frameworks & related trade-offs.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Superb written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to communicate goals and status across teams.
• Candidate must possess a strong background in project management and software development.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently, combined with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
• Graduate in computer science or similar fields.
