Role: Senior Devops Architect

Experience: 7+ years

As a Senior Devops Architect for pluto7, youll design and deliver infrastructure foundation and manage solutions on Google Cloud using core cloud data warehouse tools and related technologies. As an infrastructure lead you will help manage multiple customers' cloud environment as a managed service provider as well as help manage Pluto7s internal GCP instances. You will work with Google and Googles customers on various enterprise scenarios. This includes helping shape projects. Multiple phases and deliver them with a team. You will be exposed to multiple Google online and various training resources.

Additionally, youll work closely with pluto7s US and India markets to meet with prospective clients and discuss their project needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Cloud for Pluto7s customers in a hybrid and multi cloud architecture and environments

• Help manage and troubleshoot CI/CD, containers, configurations

• Build and manage infrastructure as a code and experience with Terraform

• Participate in Defining cloud data strategy, including designing multi-phased implementation roadmaps

• Mentor other team members

• Build logging, monitoring with tools like Stack driver or similar and infrastructure monitoring with data dog or similar.

• Assist business development teams with pre-sales activities, including helping estimate and plan projects

• Willingness to travel up to 50%, at peak times ( post lock down)

• Build Machine Learning model and work with the team with ML Ops, Data Engineering, Data Pipeline and integration into the data warehouse.

• Application monitoring with GCP tools as well as tools like AppDynamics

Required Qualifications:

• Experience on any of the cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud)

• Hands-on production support and maintenance of cloud infrastructure

• Proficiency and hands-on experience with big data technologies

• Experience in languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Node.js, Scala, and/or Go

• Proficiency with both Linux and Windows

• Passionate about learning new technologies

• Performance monitoring, debugging, bash scripting, alerts and budget management

• On premise and hybrid cloud networking management across various protocols

• VPN, VPC, interconnect setups or guidance with firewall, load balancing and web server setup

Preferred Experience:

• 7+ years of data architecture, consulting experience

• Cloud platform certification(s) (example: AWS Certified Solutions Architect)

• MS, or equivalent, in Math, Computer Science or an applied quantitative field

• Experience with managing cloud devops
